Ingoldmells Academy

Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011 and is additional funding that the government gives to schools for each pupil on roll where they are in receipt of free school meals, pupils who are ‘Looked After’, and pupils from Service Families.

We aim to use the money to support the education and aspirations of our children. We will provide a variety of experiences to support this work.

A scientist in school shares great excitement in the world of science.
We enjoyed listening to Mr Smith who shared his experiences whilst working with the paramedics.

The money must be spent on that pupil to support their education, but it is for the school to determine how it is spent. Schools must spend the grant for the educational benefit of their eligible pupils. The grant can be spent on services that benefit pupils at the school.

Working together, learning together!

Working with a variety of trades people helped us to think about possible future careers.

Here at Ingoldmells Academy, we will work hard to support all pupils. We will regularly review our actions and their impact and add or remove initiatives to ensure continued success, raised aspirations and to limit social exclusion. We will track the progress of all pupils and also pupils’ in receipt of pupil premium funding to demonstrate how the funding is being used.

Finding lots of ways to help us learn.
We enjoyed listening to how IT skills can be used in a job for the future.
