Absence

If your child is absent from the Academy please inform us of the reason by email or by telephone on the first day of absence.

We are unable to authorise holiday absence during term time. Our Academy appreciates the seasonal nature of employment in our local area, and along with other local schools has rearranged to school year to incorporate a two-week holiday in October/November half-term to allow for holidays without impacting pupil attendance.  

Authorised and Unauthorised Absences

Parents are reminded that they are required by law to inform the Academy, in writing or by telephone, of the reason for any absence on the part of their child/children.

Leave of Absence Request Form
