At Ingoldmells Academy, we use Arbor Parent Portal and Parent App as our main platform for communication between home and school. Arbor allows parents and carers to access important information about their child quickly and securely, all in one place. 

We are working towards Arbor becoming our primary method of communication, ensuring that families receive important updates, messages, and reminders directly through the app or online portal. 

What Can I Do on Arbor?

The Arbor Parent Portal gives parents and carers access to a range of information, including:

• School messages and announcements
• Attendance information

Information to be added when available to:

• Academic progress and report cards
• Parents' evening bookings 
• School trip payments and consents
• Club bookings and payments
• Your child's school calendar and upcoming events

How do I access Arbor?

You can access Arbor in two ways:

Arbor Parent App

Download the free Arbor Parent App from:

• Apple App Store
• Google Play Store

Once downloaded, simply log in using the email address held by the academy.

Arbor Parent Portal

Alternatively, you can access Arbor through a web browser on your computer, tablet, or mobile device.

First-Time Login

When your child joins Ingoldmells Academy, you will receive an invitation email containing instructions on how to set up your Arbor account.

To activate your account:

1. Click the link in your invitation email.
2. Create a password.
3. Log in using your registered email address.
4. Start accessing your child's information immediately.

If you have not received your login details, please contact the school office so we can check that we hold the correct email address for you.

Why We Use Arbor

Arbor helps us to:

• Improve communication between school and home.
• Reduce paper communication.
• Share information quickly and securely.
• Allow parents and carers to manage payments, bookings, and permissions online.
• Keep personal and emergency contact details up to date.

As we continue to develop our use of Arbor, we encourage all parents and carers to download the app and enable notifications to ensure they never miss an important update from the academy.
